Following God in Virtue Love

Following God In Virtue Love is the solution to the problem of cliques as well asother problems of life that every Christian will encounter.  Cliques are found in every area of our society, whether in school, in the workplace, and even in churches.  Cliques are also the cause of gang member activity among youths today.  What is the solution to these and other problems such as the prevalent promiscuity and drug use that so many are involved in?  Why is there so much rebellion?

The Bible has provided answers to all these problems. For the Christian, the solution begins with the mandates given in Ephesians 5:1-2. We are mandated to emulate Jesus Christ and walk in virtue love as He did during His First Advent. How exactly do you accomplish this? This is what we will try to understand in this study of what it means to follow God and walk in virtue love.

 The Christian race is paved with many diverse pitfalls that prevent us from ever reaching the fullness of Christ. Many believers are distracted by being perpetually involved in such emotional sins as fear, worry, anger, guilt, or self-pity. Other believers may live by the lust pattern of their sin nature which includes such areas as power, money, pleasure, social or chemical lusts. Whether it is getting involved in the temporary spiritual gifts or being a self-righteous legalistic believer prone to judging, the Bible has made provisions for these and many other distractions.

It is the attempt of this study to discover the many distractions that hinder many Christians in their spiritual walk.  We will investigate what the Bible teaches about these distractions and the solutions God has provided for us to overcome them.
